Before I get 10,000 email messages, let me expand further before anyone starts a letter writing campaign.

What is the largest group of home buyers today? Most people would easily guess "married couples" and be correct. According to NAR, 61% of the home buyers today are married couples.

What is the second largest group of home buyers today? Single females account for 22% of the home purchases today. Where do you think the single males fall as a percentage of home purchases? How about 9%? What does that tell you about the males focus on the future? OOPS!

The single female demographic home buyer group is sub-divided into two groups; the twenty-something and over fifty. The twenty-something group is most likely to be first tim home buyers and the over-fifty are likely to be repeat home buyers.

If you are in a sales position, how do you use this information to reach out to this dymanic group?

In my business development efforts, I focus on the philosphy of Stand Up to Stand Out as a means of giving back to the local community.

Throughout my years as a mortgage banker, I have been blessed with certain gifts of communication and public speaking.

I would urge you to take your special gifts of knowledge into the community and reach out to others.

Now that Linda, my wife, and I are grandparents for the first time, we are enjoying our grand-daughter and her non-stop chatter, her quick repeating of our every word and the funniest mannerisms.
